Today I read this article on NPR.

It is funny because I had the same reaction to it that many of my co-workers did.
1. "Wait, reading rainbow is still on the air? I thought it went off the air when I went into high school."
2. "Oh I am so sad about this. I loved that show."
This news really put me into a very nostalgic moment. I have not seen this for years and years but can still vividly remember episodes. Some of my favorites:
LeVar tells us about being an actor and takes us to the set of star trek
We visit an artist that makes Russian Easter eggs
we visit and artist that makes pots in Hawaii and glazes them
We go to a Renaissance festival
and one of my favorites was on stop motion animation
I use to make up book reviews with my friends like we were the kids on the show and we would try to come up with something witty to say like when I reviewed If You Give A Mouse A Cookie "I am telling you this book is worth giving a cookie for"
Such an end to an era. I love you LeVar! I'll see you next time :)
